Description : Server(Case Study) - City of LA Public Library A. Comparison of ThinkFree Server and Other Products Before using ThinkFree Server, what was your previous choice of office suites? How did you first get to know about ThinkFree Server product? Prior to using ThinkFree server, we used Microsoft Word in a Citrix environment. We had to manage a server pool of 8 Citrix servers in order to have enough sessions available for the public. I discovered the ThinkFree website by accident while surfing the net for a solution to another problem. I was intrigued by the idea of online word processing, but wanted the redundancy of having our own ThinkFree server product installed on our network. We've since discovered that this solution works best in our environment if the server software is loaded locally on each location's server.
